Indians abroad?:

Only my 1st post and blog traffic is good. So here's comes a second one:

Growing up in a town is easy when it comes to peer pressure. Young guys who know exactly what they are and where they were headed - if they smoked they did so with guilt. Young guys with a relatively cleaner thought process.
Studying in a school in one such town was hence sort of easy, peers interested in ruthless self-advancement which was a result of demanding middle-class parents, a middle class ever growing in India. Peers respected each other for any sign of hard work or talent they would notice. So where’s the drawback? - these schools heavily concentrated on studies and discouraged sports – I remember my friends getting pulled up from the assembly, after a hard game they’d play in school breaks - many frivolous reasons followed the “disciplinary actions” against them. It is exactly these schools that generate the doctors, engineers and IT professionals which are in high demand in the West. With over a hundred tests in a year even for a 5th standard student, one would be burdened with a whole lot of studies every day. Now what is wrong here is the fools who run our education system seem to have zero vision. Our education system churning out loads of individuals who can solve complex sums or learn a long passage within seconds but really can not do much else. What else explains the fact that we Indians who are supposedly considered intelligent in this goddamn world have, for years, been sending the brightest and the most competent individuals to the West to run their hospitals, companies and what not. Now the losers who run our education system are only partly to blame. What about the various bastards who take up a job abroad when they could build up a strong global company or a hospital in India. These fuckers, whom we in India know as NRIs, have been into this for years - the vicious cycle repeating itself with ever generation. When you hear news reports of Indians living abroad having more wealth than the GDP of many countries you do tend to imagine - what if these asses had stayed on? India would have achieved this growth trajectory years ago! And when you see Indian student setting off  to a dubious country like Australia, some where at the back of your mind you do wish if he has a very hard time and returns.
You really burn when you know Australia’s second biggest industry is education which is fuelled by the foreign students that enroll in their various universities (Indians and Chinese being the highest). Supporting their economy even before sweating blood for their companies? And what do they get in return - the Aussie govt. lets loose a pack of beer guzzling skinheads and other junkies on these Indian students! The general Aussie public, most of whom are not worth even a penny,  except for belonging to a “1st world country” covertly support this decay in their society
Reasons enough to tell you having brains is not enough! A vision too is needed. A quality which almost all Indians lack…
